Pastor Jeremy Wilson holds a Bachelor of Divinity as a 2001 graduate of Blue Ridge Bible Institute of Valdese, North Carolina. He and his wife, Jamey, live in Picayune, Mississippi. Pastor Wilson was raised in a Christian home and saved at the age of 8 years old, in 1994 he answered the call to preach. It was in 2005 that he was ordained at a local church in Louisiana. It was there that he served as Associate Pastor before starting Heritage Baptist Church in May of 2007.

Pastor Wilson's favorite scripture verse is II Timothy 2 verse 15: "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
